The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Men's Bowling Program has one of the longest standing histories within the state of Wisconsin and is an original member of the Wisconsin Collegiate Bowling Conference, now known as the Great Lakes Bowling Conference (originally referenced as ACU-I Region 8). Thanks to the help of Dave Halbach and countless alumni for keeping the sport alive on the UW-Whitewater campus, the team began to see new life in an ever-growing collegiate sport in the mid-2000's. The program has currently qualified for eighteen consecutive USBC Sectional Tournaments and nine consecutive USBC ITC National Championships. In 2010, the program hired Shawn Wochner who under his direction the program amassed 55 wins including 2 Club National Championships (2019, 2021), 1 ITC Championship (2022), and 5 Great Lakes Bowling Conference Championships (2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2020). The program earned 165 different All-Tournament Team finishes, including 42 individual wins. Also during his tenure, student-athletes earned 10 NCBCA All-American awards, 8 IBMA All-American honors, 15 Club All-American awards, and 49 NCBCA Scholar Athlete Awards (3.5 cumulative GPA). Shawn was also named the Kerm Helmer/Gordon Vadakin NCBCA Coach of the Year three different times (2014, 2017, 2021) and the Randy Widger CTBCA Club Coach of the Year seven times (2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022).
As of January 2021, the team now has SPECTO by Kegel installed on their on-campus practice facility, Warhawk Alley.
In April of 2022, after the Warhawks won USBC's National Championship, Coach Wochner retired and alumni standout Brandon Mooney took over the program. Coach Mooney is joined by Jordan Hastings, Hunter Loveridge, JR Meagher and Kiefer Sullivan to complete the teams staff.
